This giant is one of the only marts around here. Located at the road junction, you will be sure to pass by it whenever you come here. Usually after eating at Dunman Food Centre, my family would always go to giant and do some shopping.

This is just one of the hotels located in the area, but it is the most memorable to me due to its light blue coloured exterior.

This is an old shopping centre, I occasionally come here to buy things from the NTUC located on the ground floor. This place sells a lot of Malay textiles, jewellery and traditional clothing.

Haig Girls' School (HGS) is one of only two government all-girls' primary schools in Singapore. HGS was established in September 1951 with an enrolment of 200 pupils housed in a double-storey school building at Jalan Tembusu, off Haig Road. In November 1999, the school relocated to its current site at Koon Seng Road.

Today, HGS has an enrolment of more than 1000 pupils. In recent years, the school has been recognised for its excellence in arts education, character education and curriculum innovation.
